This elegant pendant is handmade in sterling silver. It has been formed by hand and flame to resemble a burnt matchstick. The tip is made of a vitreous glass fused onto the silver. Patina is given over part of the "stick" to resemble charring. The remainder of the stick is lightly textured to give it a wood appearance.
